Can you really tell the difference in weight of Dry material or Wet material? With the same size bucket weighing dry and wet material can make a big difference. It can be hundreds of pounds in a single load.
 Easy to install!
Just 1 day to install & Calibrate!
Advantages:
·Provides an operational and management record of loading.
·Eliminates return trips from the weighbridge of over/under loaded trucks.
·Gives accurate results when weighing on rough or uneven ground.
·Reduces weighbridge queues.
·Ensures trucks are correctly loaded first time.
·Improves site safety by eliminating unnecessary vehicle movements.
·Weighing ‘on the lift’ speeds operation, enabling operators to load more trucks per shift.
WEIGHING MODE The system is based on the measurement of the pressure of the lifting cylinder in the up phase (by means of the pressure transducer) and the calculation of the up speed (with the newer Angle sensors technology or proximity switches ). To perform the weighing just lift the arm keeping the motor revs constant, keep the lifting lever hooked and wait for the unit to give the whistle which signals when the system is performing the weighing. It is important during this the upward movement must remain constant, as must the motor revs. The machine must work as level as possible and should be subjected to as few jolts as possible.

What You Should Know!

What you should know about Hydraulic system.
Do not install scale systems on any equipment that are poorly maintained.
Hydraulic leak can degrade the performance of any system.
Under powered equipment can cause hydraulics to surge. This is caused by over sized attachments.
With each of our system you will receive helpful information that will increase the accuracy of your system.

What you need to install scale:
Customer may need to drill & tap in to the hydraulics. Customer is responsible for hydraulic fittings for the pressure transducers connected to the pressure lines of the machine. Two flange blocks are included in the kits for most loaders, one for piston and one for the rod side of the cylinder are required or any modifications to the tubing to adapt the pressure sensors; both will be inline of the pressure lines from the cylinder area. The pressure sensors supplied are equipped with ¼” BSSP ¼NPT to ¼ BSSP adapter comes with kit. (JIC Fittings, SAE Flange Fittings or Drill and Tap)
• The customer may need a welder and welding machine to weld brackets to the machine. The main welding for this system is the PROX switches that are use to start and end the weight window, another option is to drill and tap.
• The customer to have a mechanic on site to tap into hydraulic system.
• Tools for install.

What you need to calibrate scale:
• Calibration of this system requires a known weight.

Most customers calibrate with on-site with available materials. Scale must be calibrated at full capacity of the loader! Load a truck, verify the weight on a truck scale. Using the nudge feature in the scale indicator, correct the calibration as needed. (If calibrated with less than full capacity of bucket the weights may not be accurate)

Value added information: We believe the customer is smarter than what some manufactures or scale distributors lead them to believe. Some manufactures and scale distributors do not write clear and easy to read manuals, withholding information need to install or calibrate the system correctly. What we provide the customer is the ability to install these systems saving you money! OnboardScales.com has developed install information that the manufactures and scale distributors don't provide.
